Yes! I follow that guy on twitter he is a BADASS.. Does some great MMA/Boxing illos too from time to time.
I am really starting to clue in that VOLUME and REPETITION is the key to anything. A good friend started doing this a few years ago, a 1-2 hour digital illustration every day, and holy fuck he got good, fast. Same with jiu-jitsu or anything really. Its embarrassing it took me this long to figure that out, lol
All of a sudden I have a fire lit under my ass, now I just want to draw every day. I was honestly afraid of it my whole life, always anxious, avoiding it but now I complain I don't have enough time in the day to go do more. I'm even starting to do sessions drawing all the stuff I hate to draw and have also avoided for years. Doing some drawing every day I think would reap enormous rewards. I can't promise that but I will make an effort to try to hit somewhere close to that.
Did a bunch of faces last night all from photo reference it was really fun. Its a bitch to photo and upload though but I'll try to post some as I go

Her stuff is really great! Lots of sketchbook pages in there, really nice stuff
I'm all into sketchbooks now, lol I never touched the stuff now I get it
Tell her to keep going, was she trained anywhere or self-taught? Does she do children's books? her style would be great for that stuff
Ya shes been drawing since she was small regularly but went to SAIT in calgary i believe. She wrote and illustrated a book but hasnt published it yet called The Rain Crabbit

^ Its beautiful!!! Wow so cool
I always admire good children's book art. I have very little finished work, all the stuff I do is so fast and not intended for any final viewing.
I did one children's book but would love to do more and explore, I think the medium really allows for style and playful illustration to come out
LOL @ Batman
