seems like he gets a lot of HATE when his story was already KNOWN and it was as an actor playing his part in a play. I feel sorry for him and how things ended for him. Not suggesting I condone his "betrayal" but instead of viewing the story of "ooohhhh that Judas is such a villain" I observe it more from the perspective "we all make mistakes" and I see it as a lesson in the failure of forgiveness.
the Crucifixion is also a part of that story which had to play out or there would be no "Savior" for Christians to honor and glorify and so Judas was playing his part in that sad story which was necessary for the forgiveness of human sin.
I just see it that we are ALL a Judas in how every SIN is a BETRAYAL in how we are unable to live up to impossible expectations due to our flawed nature.
This is a story which should remind people to be HUMBLE and COMPASSIONATE. So maybe say a prayer for Judas that he may once again be with the one he loved and who loved him and that we can also be forgiven for our imperfection

^as for Judas writing a Gospel.....after learning that Jesus was to be Crucified he committed suicide. He was also believed to be possessed by Lucifer.
Just seems like a sad story to me.
and the difference between Cain and Judas is that Jesus told what Judas would do so there was the possibility of intervention but Judas was made to suffer so that the Salvation Event could take place
