I ordered a shed to be my workshop from an Amish company that got delivered right as I was making the form for the bench... So I've had something to work on while waiting for the concrete to harden.

It turned out fine, but it was supposed to be like a paint by numbers kind of build.

There were missing pieces. There were extra pieces. There were bad, meaningful typos in the build instructions. They sent probably a thousand hand nails. The roofing nails they sent were a half inch. Like they absolutely wanted people to fuck themselves up with a hammer.

There was a design flaw.

The corner of this siding should be over a stud so I can nail it down.

It was off on both of the rake sides. An obvious design flaw.

In short, the cousin fucking nature of the Amish really shown through with this transaction.

They said, in their ridiculous instruction manual, that I would need to buy 3 bundles of roofing shingles. I needed 5 and there was barely any waste.

Fucking Amish.
