Before we know it we'll have completely forgotten all about this project and will have immersed ourselves in the next one, a country orders of magnitude larger and more powerful than Afghanistan.. John Bolton is already on the case and I have absolutely no doubt that this Turkey project will be every bit the smashing success that all of the other neocon regime change projects that have come before it have been.

With a foreign policy track record like the neocons have it is little wonder their ideas continue to shape US foreign policy ;)

- They made do much money in those twenty years, that's they hardly see as a loss. Politicians dont put their lives at risc.

They usually dont care if the army look's bad for the public. I've read that the USA defense departament is full of politicians with stars and strips on the uniform. Not veterans. They reached the ultimate power, controling all the structure of the media.

Like that movie The world is not enough!

This is Uzbek warlord Rashid Dostum's pad. These kinds of palaces are a common site around Kabul. It was a giant slush fund.

- I've seen a picture. Man those palaces have more luxury than the houses that cost 10 million here.
How can this guy sleep, when there have people sleeping on the street's?

Yes, and there has been surprisingly little bloodshed. Much of the Western media seems kinda bummed that there hasn't been an Afghan on Afghan bloodbath.

We have a guy in our jits club from Afghanistan. He said tonight that the people there want the Taliban in power they want peace and this is how they will get it. Yet another instance of media propaganda distorting the truth
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.
