How does this Karate style compare to more traditional Kickboxing/K-1 styles?
It looks so awkward sometimes, K-1/Muay Thai looks more natural & effective to me but I don't know much about striking styles.

- The rule set favors the more footwork focused styles of karatê \taekwondo. The bigger space,limited clinch work. A fighting style is totally dependent of the ruleset you will compet in!
K1 usuallys uses kyokushin, Netherlands(Sp?) Stylle of kickboxing,\muay-thai.

If you want to learning strike, muay-thai kickboxing would be faster.
