My club will be open the whole break, I have time off work I'm looking forward to lots of training.

It's been a struggle for me lately, I've been dealing with chronic low energy for several months my jiu jitsu's been shite lately asa result, it's been scary to go to class cuz I know I'm gonna get hurt lol but I've been going anyways. Starting to feel better, Started taking some vitamins. Had an OK class today.

My nephew is training with me, it's a good motivator he just got his blue in just over 1 year of training.

low energy for months? get your T levels checkd man. maybe you need to become TRT Masato. Congrats on the stripe!

Did you ever have your T levels checked? Did you do anything for this?

I haven't been tested for anything but it makes perfect sense at my age that testosterone is dropping. I don't like to fuck with my natural biology too much, don't wanna start injecting shit but maybe there is something a little easier I can do to compensate.

If I recall correctly Diet Butcher is a bit older than me & fit as a mofo

So I'll be signing up at a new jiu jitsu club tomorrow.

Covid lockdown hysteria (plus some other shit) killed my old club of about 8 years... then during the lockdowns there were 2 clubs that were operating in secret. 1 was 10 mins away, but was shite. The other 35 mins away, but was awesome.

I committed to the 35 minute club and have trained there ever since, so what 3 years?

Anyways due to a bunch of boring logistics of stuff going on in my life, I've decided to switch to a club I found that is literally less than 5 mins from my house I didn't know about until just recently.

It's the brother of Firas Zahabi, GSP's coach. I think his name is Alex Zahabi (?)
I've trained there twice now and was very impressed with the technical level.

Not only is it only 5 mins away, but I think it will suit me better as I age. It's super friendly, a lot of older guys, & seems more technically focussed, where as the club I've been at is more scrappy. I was getting too old for that club I think lol there is a brown belt older than me there which makes it hard to complain, but I was having trouble keeping that pace, a lot of HWs there most days to contend with.

Anyways I'm excited because I was kind of burned out from BJJ for the first time in many years, I was having trouble finding the motivation to drive 35 mins only to have to go hard with 200+lb dudes. Body feeling old, etc

Now with a brand new club I feel like a new chapter is opening, it's pretty exciting.
I'm still kind of burned out to be honest, but I'm looking forward to it. Like a new life again

Anyways that's it lol

Thanks dude.

I think there is something to being loyal to a club, but only so far.

The club has recently kind of exploded, got a bunch of attention and is growing and changing fast.
Maybe I'm getting out at the right time.

Jiu jitsu is a journey. I've had many different chapters I'm excited for this next one.

- Dont you put thing's that arent even made for human use in your body?
When you get checked they will prescribe a diet first to see if you can get your test levels rised naturally.

I am seeing a naturopathic doctor in May to have a full checkup/consultation.

I have lost too much faith in standard doctors to listen to them about most things these days :( :(

My home gym is a disaster lol

If flooded over the winter, then froze a bunch a times. Kids made a big mess and too cold to clean it up

I will have to do a full spring cleaning soon.

At least no raccoons settled in like Canuckster's boat
