Problem is that I'm too ignorant to know what to fill the dead and squat with.

No not 20 but a fair bit younger maybe 5 years younger? I was corrected by a friend who pointed out that it was his older cousin and to a lesser extent his brother we knew but they went to eastwood marist all the same
Anastasios knows his shit for sure but if youre going for the Zyzz look sans roids id stick to a body building routine that includes compounds and dial your dient in which should be easy in your part of the worl
If you want to do what he suggested which looks fine although the lazy cunt hasnt given you and set rep protocal and need to fill in your dl and squat days id do something like
DL then back extentions legs curls if your jungle has the equipment and maybe bent over rows, core then more biceps
Squat then goblet squats then again if the jungle gym has it leg extensions lunges then core and then some extra shoulder work
I was crazy about oly and PL style lifting for over a decade lil Vutu won the State title in his age and weight class pretty easily FWIW but now Im leaning to more of a bro workout to actually look like I lift, as we get older its easy to get hell strong but have that blocky fat cunt look which is worthless much better to look good and be in the top say 20 percent strength wise than look like a blown up dad bod type and be in the top 10 percent, who cares about your maximal strength anyway? where do we use it? doesnt help for shit in a fight anyway and who the fuck is fighting anymore?

Reckon my goals are similar to yours. It's nice to be strong but I'm quite happy with my numbers on squats and deadlifts. I'd like to increase the bench and overhead press though.

Just fuck around with different stuff and rotate them in and out, theres such a huge variance between what the top level guys do that I doubt theres any one way to train. What the greek suggested is solid plus another gazzilion ways

I'm just doing 2 full body workouts a week now.
Day 1 I'm doing all the compound lifts except deadlifts. Day 2 I'm doing deads plus isolation stuff and some bodyweight. Before, I was doing 4x8. Lately I'm experimenting with 2x20.

Hows the higher reps going for you DB? id like to cut down to 3 maybe 2 sessions a week but lifting keeps me sane, off the booze and more well slept

Diet wise im just watching portion sizes by using smaller plates at home plus leaving shit on the plate eating out. Just went to the pub to watch the fights and had fish, salad and chips just ate the salad first then the fish then allowed myself enough chips to finish the tarte sauce off so like 8 chips then handed my plate to the drunks to finish the chips off
Its not working, not losing any weight 109 - 111kg on any given day
