I'M BINGE WATCHING THE WITCHER ON NETFLIX

Postby dass » Wed Nov 23, 2022 11:00 pm

I'm almost through the first season right now and I'm impressed with the production values which are high. I avoided this series thinking the costumes and backgrounds would be poor but I'm impressed with the quality of the visuals and special effects which are enticing and genuine looking. I'll be finished before Friday I think. Season 2 will be for later tonight and tomorrow.

The storytelling is multi-layered and complex and almost through the first series with a couple episodes left I'm still not sure what the conclusion will be but it's probably good since netflix has funded the series up to the fourth season now, with the third in production.

After the THE WITCHER I plan to move on to other series and I'm open to suggestions?

And I can suggest on Netflix the latest version of ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT. this version is even more graphic with the death and carnage of trench warfare.

Is that the show where they just switched the lead actor?

I am still holding a grudge when they switched the cast of Dukes of Hazzard and just acting like nothing was wrong.

Fuck any show that does that, man

I'm halfway through the second season. All the major characters are back from season one. The second season is more character driven as the characters are going through immersive events and changes as they become more three dimensional. The visuals are impressive. But the story is still so circulated in losing a little interest and will wait until the end of the season if I want to continue to the third.

The last episode of the second season was ok. All plotlines were resolved for now. Not greatly excited for the next season.

I'm eager for the fourth and last season the UMBRELLA ACADEMY. I'm eager to see that more than THE WITCHER.

I don't think I'll watch the next season of the WITCHER....I think the show jumped the shark in the second season.
