Its funny, when I was in Brasil and got the idea for the comic (on an island with TONS of street-dogs...) all the dogs seemed really happy. Maybe I was just projecting, i dunno...

But some of the dogs I saw in the Dominican were downright SAD, lol I mean like depressed.

Lotsa good characters for my story though, I plan to base every dog off of real dogs I've taken pics of myself:

THIS dog had a mangled leg that was completely twisted sideways like he got in a fight with Palhares or something...

Yet he hopped around as if nothing was wrong

Wish I got a better picture of it, was gruesome lol

This dog was great too, a wonderful character for the comic.

Not sure he was really a street-dog though, seemed pretty well taken care of. (or maybe that's just how you get when you're the biggest/healthiest in the neighborhood, lol)

Either way, they were just roamin' around free. I am enchanted with this life, maybe next life I'll enjoy a short pass at such an incarnation :D
