Short I wrote 20yrs ago: MASKS

Postby Masato » Sat Jun 27, 2020 5:26 pm

I wrote this in animation school as a possible short film, almost 20 years ago.
We were gonna film it but somehow it never happened. I kept the script though, and have suddenly been reminded of it now with all the covid mask stuff.

It was supposed to be a commentary on individual reality, freedom, and groupthink etc

Who knew it was to come true?

We should film it

- Do you pretend to follow with the project?
- I rent this space for advertising

Dude I don't know what you're on about but that video is trippy, lol

embed code?

Its a similar idea, I visualized when you put the mask on you see the world all bright and happy

I have been learning a software called StoryboardPro that is used in animation to make animatic-storyboards. Maybe my first creation with it will be a run of this script since it's only 2 pages.

Lol that video was from a series promoting a game called team fortress 2, each character had their own animated short which were all hilarious.
