4047 is good on acoustic. Both of them are really nice mics on either duty. 4050 sounds more hifi, 4047 a little rounded by comparison. I hear the 4060 is a pretty amazing piece, but if you need the multiple polar patterns, the 4050 is the way to go. If anyone here uses a 4060 I’d like to hear your feedback on it.

I'm glad you say that, because to me the difference between the AT4047 and the 4050 are like night and day, absolutely no comparison. Anyone who spends their money on an AT4047 imo is fucking retarded.

4047 the same, and the 4060 is hugely overrated. It just got hype cause of that bitch commercial and that drama that went down on TikTok. That new feature they added on the 2020 model is useless, may as well just leave it off, lol

Trust me, I hang with Int'l DJs

Well I’m glad I got that 4047 for practically nothing, i wouldn’t wanna be a retard!

Mine finally broke, I need new ones but don't wanna spend too much (less than $200)

Looking for the best bang for my buck, I like the soft ones that go over/around the ears. Normally I would just go to Best Buy and get the best one in the price range, but everything closed so I have to order online.

You clearly are an expert at this stuff, its not like you just copy/pasted all this info, so any recommendations would be appreciated.

If you’re willing to shell out $280 I’d suggest the Bose QuietComfort 25.

It’s not wireless but still has all the sound quality and noise canceling tech of the more expensive QC35. I’m using the QC25 now and it’s really a great product.

another great brand that doesn’t get enough play imo is Sennheiser. Have you ever tried them?
