Hey all
Been a big Mauro fan for a long time, but last night I watched the documentary ‘Bipolar Rock n Roller’ and it really affected me
Really got me thinking about mental illness and how easily it can fly under the radar and we don’t even see it
Mauro is a fuckin champ, how could you not love the guy?? So cool there is vintage footage of him playing a heel character in some oldschool wrestling promotions. He’s been doing this longer than I thought. What a thrill it must have been when he was at his lowest to get a call from Bas to go to Pride which he didn’t even know about.
Guy is the real deal, best in the business imo.
Will post some classic Mauro moments here, but wanted to make a thread of support for the guy.
WAR MAURO!!!!!!!
Love 4 Mauro Ranallo thread
Mauro is awesome. Btw Mas, why exactly did he get that call from Bas?

I don't know! Can't recall if they explained that or not. Would be interesting if Bas did it knowing of Mauro's conditions, or if it was just a legit job offer.
Check this recent tweet from Mauro, very sad... damn I would be crushed if Mauro ever offed himself. He threatens to do it tons in the documentary. Seems like a persisting voice in his head that he struggles to ignore:
