I grew up with this guy and his family. I would have never, ever suspected him. It made me often wonder what made him do it. He had a good sex life with his wife. He was charming and sexy and could easily "hook up" anytime he went out. All women just seemed to go stupid over him.

I know that he found his mom's porn tapes and started watching at a very early age, I'm talking young. I wonder if watching porn made him begin developing that area (sexual development) early.

Do you think that could explain a sexual desire to a young age group? Due to being sexual stimulated at that age yourself?

Yeah I think you're on to something...

I would wonder rather if he was abused as a child. I don't think the age we first experience sexual energy determines our age preference, but I do think the NATURE of our first sexual experience will greatly shape our preference.

For example if someone is sexually abused as a child, then arousal might forever associated with a pedo type situation. This is why pedos are so dangerous, its not just the abuse they do, but the abuse their victims will likely grow up to do, and continue for generations on. You create more pedos. I seriously wonder what the ratio of pedos who were also abused as kids would be. Likewise if someone's first experience involves gay content this may also ingrain our preference.

Reversely, if someone's first exposure to sexual energy is from a loving and peaceful situation (ie; healthy marriage), that person will not likely grow up to desire violent or dominating sex

This is all just theory, but I wonder sometimes. If it is true, then it puts all the modern sexual liberalism in a sort of shocking perspective, that perhaps society can grow more gays or trans folks for example simply by exposing more children to such imagery. How many gays exist within cultures and societies where such images are never seen or even comprehended (I think of Amish communities for example)? I don't know. I wonder if it would be less than in my daughter's middle school, which is currently sporting a giant window display about gender identity and sexual preferences in the main lobby :D

I think we're all sort of under attack, really. Trained to have an over-stimulated and unharnessed sex drive from very early on, taught to feel guilt and pleasure at the same time, and really nothing we can do to stop it, lol It is really quite unavoidable at the rate of increase in our media and billboards etc... All the cute pre-teen celebrities all turn into whores before they are 18 lol.

Don't a lot of wisdoms around the world promote gaining self-control over this part of ourselves? So what does it do then when we are conditioned to just let it all go and indulge?

The Stranger

A few months before I was born, my dad met a stranger who was new to our small Tennessee town. From the beginning, Dad was fascinated with this enchanting newcomer, and soon invited him to live with our family. The stranger was quickly accepted and was around to welcome me into the world a few months later. As I grew up I never questioned his place in our family. Mom taught me to love the Word of God. Dad taught me to obey it. But the stranger was our storyteller. He could weave the most fascinating tales. Adventures, mysteries and comedies were daily conversations. He could hold our whole family spellbound for hours each evening. He was like a friend to the whole family. He took Dad, Bill and me to our first major league baseball game. He was always encouraging us to see the movies and he even made arrangements to introduce us to several movie stars. The stranger was an incessant talker. Dad didn't seem to mind, but sometimes Mom would quietly get up - while the rest of us were enthralled with one of his stories of faraway places - and go to her room read her Bible and pray. I wonder now if she ever prayed that the stranger would leave. You see, my dad ruled our household with certain moral convictions. But this stranger never felt an obligation to honor them. Profanity, for example, was not allowed in our house - not from us, from our friends, or adults. Our longtime visitor, however, used occasional four-letter words that burned my ears and made Dad squirm. To my knowledge the stranger was never confronted. My dad was a teetotaler who didn't permit alcohol in his home - not even for cooking. But the stranger felt he needed exposure and enlightened us to other ways of life. He offered us beer and other alcoholic beverages often. He made cigarettes look tasty, cigars manly, and pipes distinguished. He talked freely (too much too freely) about sex. His comments were sometimes blatant, sometimes suggestive, and generally embarrassing. I know now that my early concepts of the man/woman relationship were influenced by the stranger. As I look back, I believe it was the grace of God that the stranger did not influence us more. Time after time he opposed the values of my parents. Yet he was seldom rebuked and never asked to leave. More than thirty years have passed since the stranger moved in with the young family on Morningside Drive. But if I were to walk into my parents' den today, you would still see him sitting over in a corner, waiting for someone to listen to him talk and watch him draw his pictures. His name? We always called him TV.

Unfortunately I do not know the source of this story.

that is great

To re-write it for the internet would be bizarre, the stranger would come in and start shitting all over the floor yet the family would become addicted to him :D

Makes sense.

Well up until the window display at the school. Wtf?

I read that one school was going to allow the kids (of any age) to pick their gender and race. And wouldn't be required to tell the parents if they thought it would be a problem.

We are on a highway to hell. (Or whatever bad place you believe in.)

I heard this read on the radio 20 plus years ago. I can't believe I found it on the internet. Lol

Yeah, that display at my daughter's school is really weird. I see lots of parents with a WTF face, but we've been trained to STFU about it or get called a hateful bigot, lol nobody says shit but you can tell parents are blinking their eyes at it at the same time

Point is that such a display is great if you are all confused about your gender or orientation... For sure these people deserve respect and acceptance. But what does such a presentation do to STRAIGHT kids who haven't even thought such things? All of a sudden they are questioning their orientation sometimes even before puberty! I would say its likely to confuse them. Helping the 1% who may have some issues is not worth imo messing up the 99% who don't. They could offer the same message but way more discreetly so that relevant kids would know there is support, but yet not making a big loud parade for everyone to see about questions we are barely even beginning to understand

At worse, it might even be making it TRENDY to be gay or trans, kids think its cool cause they see it all over TV and other propaganda so they start role-playing or don't want to be straight anymore because its boring and doesn't get as much attention. This is terrifying, imagine if a straight kid starts playing with this stuff in the same way teens might try different fashion styles etc

The other thing I wonder is where did the idea for the window display come from? I am guessing most public schools are all doing something like this, right along side with the massive anti-bullying campaign we've seen here (they kind of go together if you think about it)... what drives such trends? Are the schools ordered from above to start adding these programs and content? Or are school staff simply getting caught up in the trend?

Many here are also upset about the updated Sex-Ed curriculums here, saying its giving way too much info at way too young of an age, already putting ideas and options into their heads before they can develop naturally. I remember my sex-ed, they were basically showing us how to have sex and giving us all the tools to do it. Now they are doing that but also encouraging to have sex with anyone and anything you like.

We better think this through, lol as parents and as a society, I'm telling you the consequences are not minor, we are being fed an agenda and we have no idea of its power or effects, which I am suspecting more and more to be really deep

There's a difference between transgender acceptance and trying to push it onto kids for fear of appearing intolerant. Also, because race means nothing to me - and because of that wretch Dolezal - seeing yourself as a different race (barring Otherkin) is downright mental.

Theres absolutely nothing wrong with me not allowing my kids to know about someone elses bizarre lifestyle. They can be taught tolerance without thrusting deviance down their throats. When their minds are more mature and able to absorb this kind of info without fucking them up then fine.

Other people's lack of restraint and their ability to be offended by absolutely nothing isn't my problem.
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.

I'll have you know that I know a few transgender people and they are far from what I would consider "deviant."
