Ha yeah I played tons of video games in the early-mid 80's then fell completely off the wagon pretty much until now. Games nowadays I can't even play because there is too many variables and buttons to control, lol

Except MarioKart, I kick ass at that

I could beat this whole game sometimes without getting hit once:

UP UP DOWN DOWN LEFT RIGHT LEFT RIGHT A B START MOTHERFUCKER, lol

This was my video game in the arcade, Xevious

I had every high score on the game. You can find it to play free online, but it's just not the same with keyboard controls.

Mas: One of my favorite moments of my gaming history was when me and my university roommate beat Super C(Contra 2). It was so fucking hard yet so epic!

For old forgotten games, I feel the the gaming community is pretty well aware of the old games I like. Exceptions: Anything on Turbografx, Getsu Fuma Den, Buck Bumble.

Currently I'm playing Castlevania: Bloodlines. Well known and for good reason:

The retro gaming community is pretty well established. Not many good games slip through and get forgotten.

I'm also trying to find a reasonably priced turbografx 16 and a neo geo for my collection. Not an easy task
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.

I was strictly arcade, no consoles.

I enjoyed watching and hanging out with dudes that played video games, but never really got into any games seriously at home, except World of Warcraft. I banged on that hard about 3 years and then was done with gaming for good. It chews up too much time for nothing of real world value. I'd rather build my own house than play World of Warcraft again.

I'd love to do a couple of hours of Xevious at an arcade though. I'll even bring the quarters.

Get a cable to hook a laptop up to your tv, get usb controllers, then emulate the games. Exact same experience (basically) and it will only cost you 50 $s or so.

I have all the emulators, I collect consoles as well. Some games just can't be emulated and be the same.
