The reality?
The nerd will probably end up with a middle class lifestyle... Think of your average, balding computer programmer in his 30s. If he is married at all... it's to an ungrateful shrew wife who gives him sex once every three months. He makes a good amount of money for the American average (say, $70,000), but that's nowhere near enough to finance the lifestyle that his wife covets. (By the way, his wife is fucking a black dude on the side.)
If the typical jock has above average grades (which is quite common), he'll probably end up at a university somewhere on a sports scholarship. He'll end up fucking WAY more women, hotter than any of the porn stars that the nerd faps to every day. He'll graduate with some bullshit degree and learn jack shit, but none of that matters, because 1) connections & networking, 2) charisma, 3) good looks, and 4) tall height are what get you promoted in the corporate sector.
Nobody actually gives a shit about qualifications. Go ask one of the many, many Asian males in Australia who do their work quietly, competently, and without complaining, but lose their promotions to some abo who came straight from the jungle.

I had the luxury of being a late bloomer in 'Murrkah.
Entered puberty at age 14 (didn't have a trace of pubes until then), then skipped a two years of HS with a high school equivalency exam, then went straight to community college and finally to UC Berkeley. Puberty hit me with a jackhammer. I literally grew a foot in less than three years, and I have the stretch marks to prove it.
Graduated with a masters + bachelors in three years... Lost my virginity at age 16, which is uncommon for an asian. This was around the time that i started to question my gaedok beliefs and began to "experiment" with sex and drugs. But that's the subject for another story.
I was still skinny as fuck until age 18 or so, which is when I started working out seriously and eating right.... Lifting weights is one of the few physical activities that doesn't strain my cardiovascular system. Weird huh? By this time I was earning roughly $80,000 a year -- low for the Bay Area, but very high for a young man who has no family to take care of, and is barely old enough to vote. Latina chicks were interested in me! Had to buy a fake ID to buy alcohol (haha) and lied successfully about my age to fit in.
I was disgusted by the vast majority of Asian American chicks, and mostly used them for boring sex.... I still have no clue why anybody has yellow fever. The one time I was engaged to a Korean American chick, she turned out to be an absolute psycho who assaulted me physically, and threw my arrhythmia medications away to try to destroy me from within. Fuck I hate Korean females.
Now I'm stuck in a rut where I have parasites demanding money from me, and succeeding at it, only because they are my own flesh and blood. They are depriving me of my free time and happiness, and I'm still barely in my mid-twenties. I've had to relinquish a successful start-up that I started and go back to some soulless corporate job. But I make a decent amount of money for what I do, and the commute isn't that far -- I can watch Breaking Bad on the train, which is always a plus.
Now what does that make me? A nerd or a jock?

That brings me to another subject. Height.
Height is a major issue in the corporate sector.... you very, very rarely see short dudes in positions of authority, unless they are in charge of companies that they founded from the beginning. CEOs are over 3 inches taller than the American average. This is why Asian males are screwed in the West.
The fact of the matter is, both men and women have little respect for males of short stature, and this is a constant throughout culture and history. It's a major reason why Filipinos (5'4" on average) are worshipping tall Americans and other white people.
It's not that they're unmasculine... A lot of flips have that dirty jungle blood and they can throw left hooks better than any white man. But a 5'4" dude does not command respect from anybody. He is at the bottom of the societal and sexual totem pole.
If you are a manlet, you pretty much have to go through Som Pong* levels of over-compensation in order to succeed in this world. That's sad and fucked up. But that's the natural order of things. Short little nerds are in high supply, but low in demand.
And contrary to popular belief, Louis Napoleon was of average stature for his day.

Overcompensation is what I do man. At 5'9 I am borderline manlet by northern Swedish standards. I ALWAYS pick fights with dudes bigger than me, they aggravate the fuck out of me just by being. Don't think I've ever been in a fight with a guy shorter than me. I ain't really tall in Thailand, most late teen kids are my height or taller in Bangkok. Diet plays a part, you can't compare my Isaan mates with my hi-so students.
