Bruce Lee: Revolutionize your MIND
Bruce Lee was the man, growing up he was my idle like he was for many kids growing up in the 70's-80's, his influence and teachings - his spirit and energy still continues to touch lives to this day ...he was so pure and real that's what made him so great ...his truthfulness and ability to express himself in a way the world could appreciate.
I've studied and practiced many traditional martial arts growing up and even into adulthood - followed the UFC since day one with little Brazilian guy somehow pulling off these crazy moves making his opponents submit ....but the one thing that really is mind boggling in my mind is that even in today's UFC we haven't seen someone at Bruce Lee's level in terms of all around well developed game.
Bruce Lee gave the blue print to fighters in "Tao of Jeet Kune Do" that book is filled from front to back with so much knowledge that can easily be transferred into today's modern MMA fighting game yet no fighters have really adopted the Bruce Lee philosophy. (Most likely because of the stigma that he was a "movie" star, or he was just a small Chinese dude.)
We see glimpses of it with Jon Jones, Conor McGregor, Max Holloway, Mighty Mouse, ...but no one single fighter has been able to commit himself 100% to the game.
Bruce Lee - committed 100% of his focus on training, eating, mental game.
Fighters today can do one or two of those things great ...but fail at the third.
I feel we are getting closer to these younger fighters reaching the "Bruce Lee Level" ...but we are not there yet ......
In order for these young bucks coming up to reach the level of greatness Bruce was able to achieve they must have self control and pass on the devils deliquesces that tempt man at every turn - be it hookers and hoes, booze and bitches with tits, coke fueled drunken misfits ...call it what you want to call it .....it comes in all shapes and forms but the devils always knocking on the door offering up an abundant amount of spirit stealing porn.
