Great Collection of Occult Interviews

Postby Masato » Fri Dec 19, 2014 7:27 pm

Hey all, found a little goldmine here for anyone interested in Occultism, Gnosticism, Esoteric Mystery schools, etc

Lots of interviews with experts on the subjects, leaders of secret mystery school societies, etc. I'm swamped with work for a while and am going through it to pass the hours.

Personally I am wary of Occult power, but am also intensely curious about it. Loads of intriguing characters and stories, crossing paths with many historically influential figures and world changes etc.

I've listened to 5 or 6 already, very interesting guests and discussions. So far not inflammatory or fundamentalist, nor is it fear-porn like Jordan Maxwell etc.

Dude right now talking about the connections between Theosophy and Gandhi. Fascinating.

This whole podcast is SUPER pro-freemason.

They call each other brothers, and vigorously defend any 'conspiracy' perspectives. I do believe there are many worthy ideas in the lore of Freemasonry that is good and helpful to a person, but its a bit blind to deny their role in so many dark events and people in history. These guys believe that Freemasonry is benevolent and this may be true, but all religions have there extreme fundamentalists. Members of a religion must be realistic and acknowledge this imo, even if you don't agree with such interpretations.

freemasonry is deeply ingrained into occultism. regardless of what they say. the symbology and ritual doesnt lie.
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.

Yes but occultism does not necessarily mean bad or evil... I do believe lots of Freemasons/Occultists have pure intentions and are simply looking for knowledge to better themselves or feed their own egos.

I personally think a lot of occultism is just over-romanticized hooplah, they make it sound deep but the concepts alone can be found in lots of other sources of wisdom.

Some of it however I believe is very real, and I think difficult to use benignly. Its playing with fire, it relies on the ego to control certain forces, and imo egos in general can't be trusted.

But this is just my own personal views, like I said I think a lot of masons/occultists are just curious truth-seekers. And just like good Christians don't want to hear how nasty the church has been etc, those devoted to Masonry have closed their minds off to its evils. They fall into a religious box just the same.

Need to see things like that for what they are; valuable but dangerous if you become too fanatic

no, not at all,

the definition of occult is unknown. and anything can become dangerous if you become fanatical about it, especially religions.

That is why it is best to use the power of spirits when it comes to the occult. It frees you from the intrusion of your own ego, it's a more reliable flow of energy and the spirits can ensure that you are safe in the ritual and to punish those who use their magicks for selfish and malicious purposes.

Kitsune are a great source of the stuff and they do NOT like those who abuse their power.

^^ I posted something about this in the Kitsune thread

I don't trust getting too entangled with spirits, even when they benefit me. I like them fine as friends/allies/guides etc... but I always make it clear where the line is. If they fuck with me they won't get far.

I only allow connections to exist when I feel there is mutual respect and the threads that bind do not become knots
