Yeah, hiking's great, until you've done this fucking thing...Twice!

^ have you?

Would love to hear about it. I am skeptical about most charity work but admit I don't really know shit about any of em, lol

Tell us your experience Winnson

I did some longer hikes when I was in BC. I did the West Coast Trail when I was about 8 years old.. took us 9 days to hike. Then when I was a teenager I did Mt Robson 3x, plus some other overnighters in the mountains around the interior of BC

No serious hiking since then, I miss it.

When my kids are a little stronger I would like to do some kayak/portage trips. There are routes all over Ontario, you can pick as many days/nights as you want.

^ very nice.

I am fascinated by the Scandinavian countries. Some people I know just took a cruise through Norway and I was hypnotized at the images brought back.

Like I said I've got a lot of Scandinavian blood but have never been there. I think it's important for people to at least one day go to the places they were born and where their ancestors came from, and hope to make this adventure before I'm dead.

I always imagine that if my wife and kids are somehow destroyed one day while I'm still healthy that I would do a huge hobo-tour through Eastern Canada, Greenland, Iceland, through Scandinavia and down through Europe. I can never imagine/see where the trip ends though, strange.

There's a shit ton of snow here
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.
