I was in the neighborhood picking up my ceiling penis money so I stopped to get a pizza.
One of Brian's employees came up with a jingle so they were doing a commercial... dinner and a show.

I like the jingle.

I've got a jingle for you.
"If your penis isn't becoming to you oh no, you should be coming to us"

People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.

They have redgard at home depot. I picked it up tonight when I grabbed all of my other material.
No. You're right. I'm probably going to go with the kerdi.
there are conflicting reports. I should be able to prime drywall and joint compound and then use redgard for waterproofing and that should solve the issue of the jc remulsifying. I would have to prime it to install kerdi anyways because the thinset used would soften the mud just the same.
I think that either way would be fine. Kerdi the more expensive but technically correct way. I'll give the guy his options, I really don't have a preference.

There wouldn't be any joint compound if I decided to use kerdi from the start...
I should probably acclimate myself to the material at some point.
