I know how to add color to a BW image, but I can't follow your explanation, I do it differently.

I don't know what you mean by 'warm up the temperature of the image'.

Those are fine colorizations boys

(also agree dark hair looks better on her, but then again I've never been one for blondes :))

I couldnt make sense of the explanation either. How do you colour BW images?

Sorry, my explanation was a bit vague. I'm using photoshop touch for my ipad, so it might be different for you guys. It has a temperature tool under adjustments that makes the layer/selection more red or blue. Just a quick blunt way to change colors without having to replace colors individually.

I'm loving what everyone is coming up with.

Johnkilo have you used any of them?

That's crazy, Fisticuffsmanship... I have never seen that before

- soon you'll be able to just verbally tell the computer what you want and it'll do it for you and all shoopers will be out of a job, lol

I just select each area and use the colorize feature in gimp. The problem I have is the glow effect between areas with different colors. It might just be a result of my impatience when selecting areas.
