Haha perfect.

P.S. Hey Masato I suck at drawing so I can't appreciate this particular thread the way a real artist would, but they are definitely good sketches.

- When I was going to Animation school we had to draw naked people like 5x per week for 3 years...

We had one model with fake implants, and it was incredible how completely wrong it was - all we were learning about gesture, anatomy, physics, and form got totally thrown out, and we all had to basically draw this human figure with rocks stuck to the ribcage. SO unnatural, it was really gross imo.

Everyone commented on how icky and wrong it was, and made a request not to hire her anymore.

When I was in high school, a friend of mine had an older sister in a post-secondary visual arts program. She used to tell us the stories about drawing naked people for her program. Eventually her class was brought to the local morgue to learn to draw lifeless bodies. I always remember when she told us that because I was completely shocked such a thing would be permitted.

^^

Dude, that's nothing

There was an field trip one day in animation school (I didn't go :( ) where they went to some place where they actually CUT UP bodies.

I have no idea what kind of place it was but some of my friends/classmates went and told me about it;

the intention was to study the muscular and skeletal structures (in order to draw/animate well this is a must), so they went to draw bodies that had been sliced or cut to show the under-structure of the human body. I saw the sketches it was wild.

They said it smelled like formaldehyde, lol

That's nuts! I remember dissecting rats in bio class and the whole classroom smelled like formaldehyde. Gross stuff. Im making sure they don't pump me full of it when I die.
