Quick update on my progress on this game:
I have the game mechanics figured out to the point where it's playable, but still have a few things I need to tweak. I made all of the standing positions for my planned 280-fighter roster. I'm planning 12 fighters for the first release (not sure who's making the first cut). If I stay motivated, I think I can release something in about 3 months.
Let me know if there's anyone you think should be added.

UberTS would be funny. Ryo Chonan would be a good addition. You might want to throw in Megaman as an unlockable as he is the basis of the sprites.

Thanks guys! These are all good additions. I did want to have unlockable characters, but everything I've read seems to indicate that it's not possible in Mugen.
Right now I'm trying to figure out how to include submissions. I don't want to have a ground fighting system, but I definitely want submissions as special moves.
