What is Creative Revolution??

Postby Masato » Thu Apr 09, 2015 6:03 pm

"It is the responsibility of the artists and creative minds during times of social change and awakening to use their talents to help break old paradigms of illusion, and to help create a more positive collective world, however we best know how. Every little voice counts, whatever path our passions may take us, no matter how illogical or strange they may seem at the start…"

Where are the Artists in these times of great change? Where is the Creativity in acts of protest and dissent? Where is the Originality in the fight for truth?

Most great changes in human thinking and society were all predated first by innovations in the ART of the people. A great movement of ideas must first be COMMUNICATED and shared in ways that positively reach the unconscious collective and stimulate a desire to participate. Any real change must come from OUTSIDE the box, not from within. - This is what REAL art is for...!!

Creative Revolution is a movement to inspire creative minds to join up with each other, and use their talents and visions to keep nurturing this great awakening... to create a platform where the freshest and most progressive ideas can come out past the veil, so that others feel more proud and willing to come out and speak!

Through love, skill and creativity we can make the shift. Only the ARTISTS can manifest them in a way that others can see!!

Do what you can, whatever your muse wants to make. We can't change the world ourselves, but together we can form a choir... let's bring these ideas out into the mainstream, and help initiate an entirely new genre of Art that is just waiting to explode...

An army of Creative Activists!!

Will you join???

Masato, what did you think of Dali? http://www.wikiart.org/en/salvador-dali

I think he lived his life just right.

One idea of mine is to simply draw pictures of the Kitsune Society's deities to get a better sense of where we're coming from.

^ what do you think about 'automatic drawing', or 'channeling'?

As in, contacting such deities and allowing them to direct your mind's eye and/or pencil to reveal how they might like to be visually represented?

I tend to do that by default to a certain extent -- I just go into a trance-like state and draw!

^ yeah but you have posted before about feeling contact with specific entities or whatever you want to call it.

It might be interesting to incorporate drawing as a deliberate part of that communication, see what happens. I think everyone goes in a trance when drawing but this does not necessarily mean channeling
