Sorry I missed your question. My father is the wood working expert, but I have been an artist all my life. If you want to see my other art, check out my portfolio site: http://www.johnkdesign.com

This is the first ever ship I have made from scratch.

Sorry Sheets! Yesterday a friend contacted me first thing in the morning about needing a ride. She lives an hour away. I thought I was going to just bring her to one place, but her and her fiance had me driving them all over the state. Not much was done yesterday.

Today we made a few of the 5 inch gun turrets and the masts.

My father has been collecting tools and machinery for most of his life.

Badass site man!!! So much good work

That model house is so interesting - what was that for?

Also your drawings and paintings are great but I don't think I see any digital work! Do you have a pen/tablet? If not I think with your skills you would love it.

Yep, the dogs are mine. Sadly a couple of them have passed away.

Thanks Masato! The samurai castle was made out of cardboard. It was a project for college. The assignment was to either take something huge and shrink it down or take something small and blow it up and make it out of cardboard. I chose Himeji Castle in Japan. I worked on it all day every day for a month (including every day of spring break). It wasn't as finished as I wanted it to be, but I ran out of time.

I had a tablet but it no longer works with my computer. It was an old, cheap Wacom. I want to get another one because it would make life so much easier.
