Though I live in Canada and have not been witness to any such racism as in the US, I do remember getting quite passionate as a youth listening to artists like KRS One and Chuck D etc explaining the problems. Later Bob Marley, which led me to Marcus Garvey, and I also spet a lot of time trying to understand the differences between the ideologies of MLK vs Malcolm X etc. So I'm not gonna jump now just because media says jump, this shit has existed way before George Flyd lol
But these same politicized cycles seem to be happening again and again, how much different does footage from this vid mirror today? Black Panthers etc have always had interesting connections from what I've learned to groups and influencers with very different agendas at play than simple advancement of respect and equality for all people regardless of color
This video is super dated, cheesy, and communist paranoid lol but it still interesting to see how history repeats itself and what we can learn:
Seems to be a highly convenient trick to divide and distract and cause chaos whenever conveniently needed, or drive the energies into strategic directions, mix it up with other agendas, use it as a mask/shield/excuse to do other things, coordinated inexplicably in many places simultaneously, seeking to expand and exploit civil disturbance.
Very sad. Sadder how many people in 2020 are still taking the bait and not being wary of who is 'leading' them
