They live was a documentary
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.

It really was a documentary but John Carpenter always played it down and said that it was about the Reagan era and the 80's 'Greed is good' attitude.

But in this later interview he admits that it is more relevant today than he ever imagined.

We interviewed Piper on TapOut radio and asked him about the movie and what his thoughts were about the world in general. He was very woke and knew exactly what the movie was saying, and he also knew about the agendas being pushed (at the time of the interview in around 2010) and spoke his mind about it. RIP Roddy Piper.
