Grass: A Nation's Struggle For Life

This 1925 silent film follows 50,000 Iranian Bakhtiari tribespeople and their livestock on a perilous journey across the Zard Kuh, highest peak in the Zagros mountains. Directed by Merian C Cooper of King Kong and The Four Feathers fame. Camera work by Ernest B Schoedsack; both Cooper and Schoedsack had lived as mercenaries and adventurers prior to undertaking this film adventure in the Anatolian/Iranian highlands. Also on the crew, and equally as colorful and adventurous was Marguerite Harrison, who had worked as a spy/journalist during WW1 and had spent two years in a Russian prison, where she had arranged the release of Cooper, whose plane had been shot down over Russia. This wealthy Baltimore resident would go on to finance the Grass project.

some good fun.....
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.

I have a feeling most of these are like art school film projects, but that last one was the strangest shit I've seen in a while.

LOL that was GREAT

I watched the whole thing on a sleep-deprived all-nighter work-shift.

VERY entertaining, whoever made those is very creative. Very funny too

lolol

^ that was whack

I can't believe I watched the whole thing

Some interesting ideas but dude is over-simplifying/generalizing things like a mofo. pretty harsh imo

That speech with the woman in the German parliament was freaky

It is interesting historically how women have pretty much never ruled anything. Also interesting his equating civilized society with the chastity of its women.

The Occult Experience: 95 minute documentary on the international occult scene, filmed in 1984-85 and screened initially by Channel 10, Sydney, in 1985.

This digitised copy was made from a high quality VHS recorded directly from the original film print.

It was filmed in Australia, England, Switzerland, Ireland and the United States. The director was Frank Heimans.

Nevill's role was co-producer, researcher and interviewer. The Occult Experience won a Bronze Award at the 1985 International Film and Television Festival of New York and was released in the USA on Sony Home Video (second hand copies on Amazon).

The documentary did not screen on television in either the UK or USA unfortunately, so uploading a really good copy will interest a lot of people in those countries especially.
