she seems to be of similar temperament to my GF......our disagreements are not always "civil" affairs. I always WARN her that I will defend myself when she begins to turn SHE-HULK on me!

^exceptional! I do believe Judo to be the BEST Martial Art for Self-Defense when trained with a kind of MMA inspiration in how it is adapted to the Rough & Tumble experience. Fedor would be an ideal example of how Judo should be expressed in such format.

the BEST does not indicate 'easiest to learn' and that is where many people fail in their Judo exploration. It takes a lot longer to assimilate the Judo techniques than Gracie JiuJitsu as example. Gracie JiuJitsu is probably best for the average person but for those who have the patience and capability to learn and adapt the techniques of Judo they will realize the brilliance of the art.
