- Karen Sheperd is an American actress in film, television and theatre. Her recurring guest-star role as "The Enforcer" on television's "Hercules, The Legendary Journeys", opposite Kevin Sorbo, received the highest ratings ever for the entire series. Karen recently appeared on "Criminal Minds" with Joe Mantegna. She starred in Angelina Jolie's first film, "Cyborg 2". Karen began starring in action films, performing her own fight-stunts after becoming the first woman to be officially rated the #1 World Black Belt Forms Champion. Invited into the stunt community for her superb fight abilities, Karen worked for a short time performing fights on shows like "Buffy The Vampire Slayer", "Angel" and "Walker, Texas Ranger". No longer working as a stunt performer, Karen has returned to her acting roots and now focuses on her passion for acting. When not filming, Karen acts on stage and has received rave reviews for her lead roles in plays such as "Summer and Smoke" by Tennessee Williams and "In The Boom Boom Room" by David Rabe.
1979-1980 undefeated World Karate Champion in Forms & Weapons. Became the first woman to ever be officially rated #1 Black Belt Forms Champion. Holds a 7th Degree black belt in the Martial Art of Wun Hop Kuen Do, Kung Fu. Competed as a gymnast as a youth.
First woman to win the title of Grand Champion at the prestigious U.S. Open Karate Championship
Inducted into the Blackbelt Hall of Fame, Martial Arts Masters Hall of Fame, Martial Arts History Museum's Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
