Rockford legend Bad Brad Hefton was a Professional Karate Association World Super Heavyweight kickboxing champion who was also named the face of ESPN kickboxing in the 1980s.

thanks Edge never heard of this guy

Seems even cooler that this was pre-UFC, this was around the time of all the Van Damme /fight movies etc but he was living it in that same era that's kind of badass

- I dint knew Brad too. But he did a movie with Don Wilson i think. Gary Daniels, Van Damme, Don The Dragon and several others, competed in kickboxing before going to movies.
