Strongman turned mixed martial artist Mariusz Pudzianowski will make his return to action on March 21 when he headlines KSW 53 in a fight against promotional newcomer Quentin “Ruskov” Domingos.

The main event was confirmed by KSW officials to MMA Fighting on Monday.

The 43-year-old former “World’s Strongest Man” has made MMA his business for just over the past decade while becoming one of the biggest stars in his home country of Poland.

Pudzianowski has faced a long list of tough opponents over the years including former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia, James Thompson, Sean McCorkle and Rolles Gracie.

Most recently, he picked up a TKO win over Erko Jun at KSW 51 this past November and now he’ll look to build on that win as he plots his return in March.

As for Domingos, the 6-foot-3-inch heavyweight comes into the fight with a 5-1 record including four stoppages on his resume. He also previously competed in GLORY kickboxing and he will now make his KSW debut as part of the main event in March.

Pudzianowski vs. Domingos will headline KSW 53 with several more fights already announced for the upcoming card at the Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland.

Good old Pudzilla. It would have been interesting if he started MMA earlier and moved to America full time.
