Yes I suppose he does come across as a nice guy.

I just can't seem to get behind him as a fighter. Maybe cuz he tapped Fedor, I don't know :)

- Well, i don't like Shaub to, and he beat Mirko, but i like Roy.:)

When Fedor beat Big Nog in PRIDE, Nogueira was a hero to me. Yet I soon became a Fedor fan 4 life too.

I find it very interesting to analyze which fighters affect a fan's imagination/emotion, which don't, and why. I think we can learn a lot about ourselves by examining the fighters that we cheer for.

- The same with me.
They become more than a man we se performing on our screens, it's like close friends fighting.
Some of then share traces of our personality, our traces we would like to show, but we can't.

^ exactly.

MMA inspires us to create (knowingly or unknowingly) inner unconscious mythologies inside ourselves.

Mythology is always representative of deeper intrinsic archetypes etc. When we find one that ignites our own imagination/creative energies we should pay attention.

- to get inspired by another is great, but to create(discover?) one's own mythology imo is the essence of an individual life.
