New UFC 'Best Individual Performance' Bonus

"The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced today a modification to its live event bonuses. Effective immediately, UFC will award Fight of the Night bonuses to each of the fighters in the best fight of the night, as well as additional Performance of the Night bonuses to the two best individual performances on the card. The bonus amounts will remain $50,000. The Performance of the Night bonuses will reward the athletes who put on the best and most exciting individual performances.

- They should just give a bonus to Wand.
A bonus for being Wand.

They should have bonus for the main eventers, and separated bonus for the fighters in the undercard.

Agree 100% on the Wand bonus. Even if he is not attending the event, he should get the check in the mail.

I just learned that (apparently) this will END the 'Sub/KO of the Night' bonus.

At first I thought this was dumb but now I think it's quite clever. If there is only one sub on the whole card for example the dude gets it by default even if it's lame.

This way the right man gets the bonus, whether it was sub, KO, or decision. I also find it's more personal - before you might remember the Sub or KO... this way you will remember the fighter. Its good for the fighter's career

I like it.
