Bellator is back in the Slice business.
According to a report from the Associated Press (AP), Kevin Ferguson, Jr., the 24-year-old son of the late Kevin Ferguson or Kimbo Slice, is set to make his Bellator debut in August at Bellator 160. MMA Fighting confirmed the signing with Bellator officials, who also say the younger Slice was signed to the promotion prior to his father's death.
Ferguson, Jr., or 'Baby Slice', made his amateur mixed martial arts debut in March where he won in just 83 seconds. According to the AP, the younger Ferguson trains alongside other Bellator fighters A.J. McKee, Bubba Jenkins and Joey Davis, all of whom are competing at Bellator 160. An opponent for Ferguson has not been named at the time of this writing.
"I was always around the fight business and everything, so I saw it and I understood what was going on. I just knew without a doubt that one day, this was what I wanted to do," Ferguson said to the AP.

Don't be selfish, preserve this world for the next generations.
I'll never long for what might have been
Regret won't waste my life again
I won't look back I'll fight to remain

Awesome. My only regret is that Bellator might give him the MVP treatment and take 4+ years to develop him fighting cans.

- I too believe that they`re gonna build him slowly and try to make him a star.
His dad had plenty of charisma and if he has half of that charisma, they have a star in the making.
