I didn't even know this was happening. Super exciting.

Only thing I'm worried about though is that they're 48 and 43 now... I'm worried it won't live up to the hype. There have been many MMA rematch fights that were made in the past to try and recapture the magic of the first bout (Griffen vs. Bonnar 2, Sakuraba vs. Royce 2, etc) and they are never the same.

Still excited though.

This should be sick, in many ways their first match vindicated Bravo as a top level BJJ guy, so there is a lot on the line in terms or reputation.

I think that while MMA deteriorates with age, BJJ just gets more interesting (from a fan's point of view).

Its all technique

Yeah, I was wondering if BJJ was different than MMA with respect to age.

Well of course the younger faster guys have an advantage... but if 2 competitors are equally past their prime it can still be beautiful, as opposed to horrifying like MMA, lol

Pure technique vs technique

UPDATE:

some weird rules being discussed:

Royler is wearing Tight Shorts and a Rashguard

Eddie is wearing the Gi Pants
—————

Royler can grab the pants

Eddie CAN’T grab the shorts
—————-

If either fighter shows up wearing anything other than the agreed upon attire… the fight is off. (This was pushed by Royler’s Attorney)

I only caught the main event. They royally fucked up on the site and anyone could have viewed it for free.

The match between Bravo and Gracie was great, if it was a points match Bravo would have won. I was rooting for Gracie. Amazing that a 48 year old man can still be so athletic. He got caught a couple of times but wouldn't submit. I heard talk that the conditions the Gracies pushed for actually ended up hurting Royler, such as making Bravo wear gi pants, which I guess made it much harder for Royler to escape his leg.

Also really surprised that Lister didn't submit Babalu, I thought that was a certainty.

Ya great match, Royler refusing to tap was just classic Gracie style.
