They are too quick to throw interim titles around these days as well. I don't see the point of it unless Jon Jones demanded it and they were desperate to keep the card alive.

- It`s bacause of the marketing value of having Titles on the line on a card.
Should be like WWE, if the champion can`t fight for a year he has to vacate the title.

If OSP manages to pull off the 'impossible' then you better believe they will.
If Jones wins (which is most likely) then it is highly unlikely they would. Fair play to OSP for taking the fight though. In MMA anything can happen and you have to take any chance you can get.
