Maybe Jones put it out, he is preemptively opening this thing before anyone else can spin it.

I also don't think he should apologize for anything he said to the cop. If a cop has you trapped like that under threat of violence, and is lying about shit and writing you a bunch of tickets and talking down on you I think its perfectly reasonable to say what you think of him.
