That every UFC fight that Rich Franklin ever lost to was a PED user. The only time he lost to a non-user was when he fought Lyoto Machida in 2003 at 214 lbs. It makes me wonder what it would be like in an alternate universe where Andy, Chael, Hendo, Belfort, Marquart etc. never used and Lyoto went to middleweight right away. I bet Machida could have been champ from 2005-2012 in such a situation, unfortunately we will never know. Here is the fight between Franklin and Lyoto:
