Don't be selfish, preserve this world for the next generations.
I'll never long for what might have been
Regret won't waste my life again
I won't look back I'll fight to remain

We have a guy who is high every class
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.
I find it works sometimes... other times its a hindrance.
its sort of a lottery, at least for me.
When I win its awesome - everything flows mind-body like zen, its wonderful.
When I lose I feel sluggish, lack of attention, it becomes work
I think I prefer going sober this time around. Maybe on a great sunny day when I feel really physically well who knows.
Had a gi class tonight it was amazing.
I just noticed my instructor never seems to teach finishes. He teaches positions, and how to navigate them to advance position. A lot of theory, the physics of how to think of angles etc. This is unusual to me, most of my training was a lot of submission-based stuff. I'm really enjoying it, learned some cool guard passes tonight. 1 from butterfly, the other from some position with foot-in-hip and the other leg trapped or whatever you call that.
Really tightening things up, it was a great exercise.
Last night was no gi, and the female that I was handling a few weeks prior came back for revenge and kicked my ass, lol

When's open mat? Going to try coming out next week

1 hour of straight rolling last night. No warmups, no drills, no instruction. Just 5 min rounds then switch partners.
Was awesome, did well. Could beat some, got mauled by others.
All great practice, starting to begin to feel faster/stronger again, but still old man syndrome. Wonder what kind of shape I can realistically get to with my lifestyle. That was 3 nights in a row this week, I don't think I've done that since the BAMA days
Nuckster's comin Friday for open mat and bringing some HW that I'm worried will break my back
