Hey all

IMO, with all the Spider-doping hooplah, Bones Jones shenanigans, and the crumbling integrity of UFC, I think it should be realized that the true GOAT of this sport is and always was Fedor Emelianenko.

Arguments about level of competition aside (which I personally think is BS), his record is still quite incredible. Also add all his multiple Sambo Gold medals, his humble trainings on playgrounds and the streets of Russia, his consistently calm demeanor in and out of the ring, the unanimous respect he received from the MMA community, his FU to Zuffa, and his sheer ferocity and consistent excitement in the ring for EVERY fight.

I doubt (but could be wrong) he ever used any heavy PEDs, and his character and integrity has stayed true to this day. Also his decline and retirement was done with class at the right time.
