Great posts Edge. I like wushu but I only watch the Sanda/full contact portion. The only problem is that every fighter is either Chinese, Russian, or they get completely outclassed by a Chinese or Russian fighter lol

Haha I forgot about the TNA ring. Sanda is popular in China, Russia and Vietnam for some of the smaller weight classes. Its a really cool sport, its too bad the West doesnt really know about it. Although the female divisions are much more international. Check out this old video of Cung Le in a Sanda fight:

Ya Liu Hailong is another awesome fighter. The big sensation in Sanda right now is Zhang Kaiyin, who is a Sanda champion who has gone into kickboxing and beat some of the best in the world.






Im also a big fan of E Meidie, a multiple time female world champ.

It was Jimmy Young that ruined young George mentally, not Ali. Even the other hw's of the era hated Young for it.
