If you have never seen a FISHBONE concert...

...go check that shit out next time they are in your town.

Highly regarded as one of the best bands ever to see LIVE.

They were my favourite band in my late highschool years, but I kind of over-did it (lol) and thus stopped listening to them for like 20 years.

Just recently I dipped back in and remembered how fucking wicked they are, especially live. I saw one live show and remember how totally amazing it was. So much passion, so much talent, so much energy, so much positivity.

I find it interesting to trace one's own personal changes in music taste over the course of a lifetime...

What did you listen to at different times in your life... what made the transitions, etc? Is there an underlying pattern to the kinds of music that attract us? What unconscious influences did the music we listened to in our youth come out later in adult life?

What can we learn about ourselves by examining our musical evolutions?

- Honestly i can't listen to the majority of the musics i used to listen before, now that i can understand them, i still love Bon Jovi: Blaze of glory, and i find a amazing song.
But i can't listen to guys talking about dungeons, demons a all that stupidity.

From back in the day, the music i used to listen like Bon Jovi and Savage garden, Sugar Ray, some other surf musics, and songs from movies, my favorites are the Superman theme, Heart on fire, No easy way out, and You're the best around.

I still have a Iron Maiden cd i got as a gift from my cousin, didn't listened for like a decade.

Blaze of glory
I wake up in the morning
And I raise my weary head
I've got an old coat for a pillow
And the earth was last night's bed
I don't know where I'm going
Only God knows where I've been
I'm a devil on the road
A six gun lover
A candle in the wind

When you're brought into this world
They say you're born in sin
Well at least they gave me something
I didn't have to steal or have to win
Well they tell me that I'm wanted
Yeah I'm a wanted man
I'm colt in your stable
I'm what Cain was to Abel
Mister catch me if you can

And of course, WWE songs, this song brings a magical place in my heart:

I've been defeated and brought down
Dropped to my knees when hope ran out
The time has come to change my ways

On this day
I see clearly
Everything has come to life
A bitter place and a broken dream
And we'll leave it all
Leave it all behind

I'll never long for what might have been
Regret won't waste my life again
I won't look back I'll fight to remain

On this day
I see clearly
Everything has come to life
A bitter place and a broken dream
And we'll leave it all behind

On this day
It's so real to me
Everything has come to life
Another chance to chase a dream
Another chance to feel
Chance to feel alive

Fear will kill me
All I could be
Life these sorrows
Let me breathe
Could you set me free
Could you set me free

On this day
I see clearly
Everything has come to life
A bitter place and a broken dream
And we'll leave it all behind

So maybe i changed, i am more mature in my infantility.

Ps: I still love Katy Perry.

^ yes but isn't it still very interesting that we go through phases that later seem absurd or unattractive?

Those are important chapters of our development, they offer insights to things we may rather forget but are nonetheless a part of us. We couldn't be who we are today without that necessary step

- This is true, every walk in life is a learning process.
Every fall is a necessary evil and a necessary good.

Ozzy Osbourne is a amazing talent, but when i was a teenage i didn't like, and today i love Soldier of fortune.
