Just timing, as I recall. We had to get married ASAP to keep her status in Canada. We were going to the same college but all ver visas had run out and her options were basically gone if she wanted to stay/keep studying/work etc.
There was a small window of time over the Christmas break where my parents and brother were together before everyone went back to their lives, so we put the whole thing together in like a week lol
It was a small wedding, maybe 10 people cost us almost nothing. But for me it was the prettiest wedding eva
Snow all around etcEither that was the only date we could secure a church, or we just thought it was cool at the time lol I'm not sure exactly how it landed on that actual date
congratulations! Not many people these days can claim to have an OLD FASHIONED TRADITIONAL VALUES REAL CONSERVATIVE marriage like that since most of the "muh family values" FAUX CONservatives have been DIVORCED....and quite often more than once!
