Watching youtube videos of the current worlds strongest man bench pressing it sometimes looks like he has a grip like mine, but sometimes it does look slightly wider. Watching videos of the well known bench press master Kiril he says he also lines up his ring finger with the line yet when he does so his grip seems to be wider than mine and even wider to the point his forearms are wider than parallel to the floor. It seems I am within the optimal range but very much on the narrower side of it. If the bicep thing persists even when I am done the Smolov and working at lower volume I will try a slightly wider grip.

Last nights workout
banded side kick, yellow band x 20,25,25
deadlifts 200x8
happy with deadlifts as its 3rd session back from not doing them for a while and left glute is slowly showing signs of healing. 2 reps more than last time and 4 reps more than the time before that.

Deadlifts 4x8@ 112.5
Lat Pulldowns 3x10@ 60
Pendlay Rows 3x10@ 60
Barbell curls 3x12@ 30
Hammer Curls 3x12@ 15
First time doing hammer curls. Pretty sure I can go at least 120kg on the Deadlifts, first time I'm doing more than 5 reps since training with Anastasios though so felt a bit faggy.

Its hard to calculate marcos with eleventy billion spices and 6 types of cooking oil or in your case rare endangered bushmeats that arent on myfitnesspal or macrometer
While I keep DLs to 3-5 cause just cause I can pull 8x200kg no straps with relative ease , I wonder if its evolutionary, mother nature gives us strong lower backs and glutes to allow us to toil in the fields and twerk
Smolov day 6 complete, the program is now halfway done. Today was less easy than last time but still pretty easy. Bicep basically felt fine, only immediately after a set would it be a bit tender. Left delt is still pissed off at me though. The nice thing about these sessions is I can actually finish them in an hour and so have more time to do hobby stuff and work overtime. Also a lot of people say when they do the Smolov they can really feel their chest swelling and I am starting to feel it now. Theres not a single day of the week youre not recovering so I guess after a while your body has to react to it.

Day 4: Shoulders and Legs
Overhead Shoulder Press (4 sets of 8-10 reps)
Lateral Raises (3 sets of 10-12 reps)
Front Raises (3 sets of 10-12 reps)
Squats (4 sets of 8-10 reps)
Leg Press (3 sets of 10-12 reps)
Romanian Deadlifts (3 sets of 8-10 reps)
Went squat, ohp, lp and Lateral Raises. RMD and front raises.
Pretty fuckkng tired.
