So I was in this place yesterday where a woman had recently passed away. On a table were a bunch of books, several of which caught my eye.
The person with me said they were all going to the Goodwill (charity drop off), and they are trying to clear out most of the deceased woman's stuff. I was encouraged to take anything I liked.
I am a huge Joseph Campbell fan, as well as a fanatic of mythology and religious symbolism in general. This was a huge score, Campbell is imo the best western interpreter of myths and their meanings...
