stumbled on this by pure chance today and enjoying a lot. I remember a long time ago I had a tape with some african music and I also remember really liking it a lot, so warm

lol 70's soul music, reggae, and african vibes. Maybe I am discovering some past life roots here lol

:D

Masato we should explore the whole tiki experience, I can't see how you wouldn't find that refreshing and invigorating.

Once I resolve my technical difficulties that is. Windows has uninstalled my audio output just now, and I can't really see anything either. Getting old as fuck over here :D

Sinatra crony funnyman Pete Barbutti was instrumental in breaking many tiki acts in the red hot PNW scene back in the day here.

Including the fabulous Arthur Lyman Group.

Enjoy ;)

The mysterious bongoman Chaino existed on the fringes of this scene:

checked him out today, enjoyed. Thanks. I like music in other languages (or without lyrics) because I can apply my own context. That;'s why I like(d) punk music, I could never understand wtf they were yelling about lol

Haven't got into the Tiki stuff yet but its on the lineup. Next days I'm a slave to the computer I will hit it up

Soon I'll start downloading some stuff on Spotify or whatever for driving and off-computer use
