He loses me with the Islamic triumphalism.

He somewhat lacks perspective. I'm assuming his exposure to Islam is mostly from well-read converts, a group that is usually alright regardless of the direction of the conversion, seekers if you will.
The primitive, tribal hordes flooding Europe aren't representative of Islam. They're just subhuman.
He does understand the natural hierarchy of the races though.
