I dont know lloyd, the french are assholes.....
People say they all want the truth, but when they are confronted with a truth that disagrees with them, they balk at it as if it were an unwanted zombie apocalypse come to destroy civilization.

I was in Paris for 2 days and encountered some of the rudest experiences ever. We got totally snubbed by a waiter in a restaurant, had to bail out of a taxi at a red light because the driver was just going in circles running up the meter, and had a knife pulled on me in the metro

However I went skiing once here in Quebec and the people were extraordinarily friendly, really great folk

Of course it’s too big a people to generalize, maybe it’s just my anglophone projections but to me there is something different about French folk. I assume most of the men are gay lol

We just went up a river with 2 kayaks, and I in a rowboat with a small outboard motor. We made it 2 Km’s up the river, I was rowing with my daughter in the boat, wife and son in the kayaks to a waterfall destination when it started a huge downpour. We loaded the kayaks into the rowboat and motored back in the rain

Great adventure

I've never been in the Paris metro.

Made it back. 8+ hours drive in one day

We had a flat tire 20 minutes in, had to change the spare and find a French mechanic in the middle of rural Quebec . Those quebecers are really friendly! Daughter helped translate. He fixed the tire and put the spare back for us for a mere 25 bucks. Stopped to see my cousin and his lovely new wife in Montreal. What a wacky town, lol lotsa freaks. We stopped in the Latin quarter, in one short lunch we saw a girl with a dildo strapped to her head and a dude wearing a clear plastic garbage bag as a dress, lol

Great trip, always thankful to arrive back safely. Will post some pics soon. Now no more holidays till Xmas
