I think a lot of people skip out on church because there's no real power or presence of God in them. I've tried different churches and find many of them boring and the pastor just reads a used sermon.
The places that attract members and keep them coming back are usually the ones that display the real gospel with all of the signs and wonders.

Imagine actually DOING what Jesus did, rather than coming to the same "tabernacle" with a rehearsed pump you up message.
I'd wager these polls reflect the majority of "Christian" nations.
I miss Fugazi
But I think he was too ill-equipped for his ambitions.
Like Evan Tanner in that way.

Yes I did hear something about that come to think of it. That's a shame if true. Poor guy.

You understand that the point of my thread here is that many christians dont attend church because they dont believe in the bible?
If not now you do, do you not see the idiotic irony in someone claiming christianity but not the bible?

Right, which is why I responded the way I did.
Fugazi tried to live it.
We can call it idiotic, others' claims & hypocrisy.
But that's EXACTLY why the forgiveness Jesus came to dole out exists, according to those texts; according to them, he lived it, knows the weakness of man to the flesh etc.
I'll bet you those polls wouldn't look much different 1000 years ago.
