Anyone think they help decode it?
So you guys like cryptology? Think you can help solve this?
Paging Mr. Luigi...
what do you think? Does the painting have anything to do with it?
Where would you begin??

Salve Erik! Quid agis? It has been too long since I've seen you around this part of cyberspace.
The abundance of numbers means its definately not a single substitution cipher, the abundance of letters means it definately isnt using a code book. It seems pretty clear that this is using a modern encryption method, that are usually more advanced than the simple stuff I know how to do. I recently taught myself how to decipher Quagmire-IIIs but besides that I dont know much about the more advanced stuff. I'd love to learn though.
Are you into cryptography Erik?

Masato: I imagine the painting, the added images and the words on the left are hints to the answer, very much like that cool Cicada challenge you posted a video on. I actually have no idea how to go about this one. Its definitely not the kind of code I am used to seeing. I might be able to ask some experts on how to approach it.

Don't be selfish, preserve this world for the next generations.
I'll never long for what might have been
Regret won't waste my life again
I won't look back I'll fight to remain

I just realized all of the letters come very early in the alphabet. Maybe its written in hexadecimal? Not sure how the characters would be paired though. I guess just assume left to right, top to bottom?
Also lol at Edges post. Classic Edge, even if you cant crack the riddle you can still crack me up.

I tried converting the code as hex into text but got nothing intelligible. However I downloaded the image and searched thru its properties to find its author listed as a link: http://dontforgettocheckyouremail.tumblr.com/
The link displayed this image:
The new link there is even stranger: http://jesus-is-taking-over-the-interne ... ality.com/

Okay so looking over that site it is absolutely insane in every way possible, but I was able to gather that it is all about a project started by some guy named Robert Ray Hedges that attempts to create a movement for internet users to alter the results of their search engines. His motive seems to be that if you teach your children how to do this they wil become "immortal". So looking around the internet some people call this guy a genius, some call him insane, and some just say he is a hacker spamming the internet with nonsense.
Here is a page that describes the project: https://encyclopediadramatica.es/Childr ... ty_Project
Here is what is apparently his youtube account: https://www.youtube.com/user/Surf2Jesus
After some searching I have found what seem to be 100s of webpages that are just as crazy and all link to each other. They all have the same rediculously long list of links to other sites. These seem to be the apparent links referred to in the first hint. The original one linked from the tumblr appears to be the most elaborate and visual.
If you scroll down thru his endless sea of diamondy words you will find a screen cap of a google search conducted in 2012 for "search manipulation". It seems to emphasize the first result with annotations. I tried google searching for this result but nothing came up. I did however recogize the web address looks very similar to all the other links of his. So I opened a few of his long lists and used the search function with the title of the site as the search terms and successfully found a link to the site: https://sites.google.com/site/sites/sys ... deNotFound
It appears the site has been deleted and no longer exists. I dont doubt it looked like the rest of these websites though.
Note: The diamond in the original image is a common motif used by these websites. Often with annotations about "clarity of the internet diamond" and similar jargon.
Here are some sample pages if you dont want to look thru that abyss of a website:

Im starting to get a bad feeling this puzzle is just a wild goose chase for a crazy guy to gain exposure for his crazy project.
